Okay, /v/. Tell me, is this a meme or is it actually good for emulation on the go?

It packs a lot of power, but the tradeoff is it's bulkier, pricier, and larger than other options. Ask yourself: do you really need that much power? What games do you actually want to emulate? If you don't want to go beyond PS2, maybe check out cheaper options. Ultimately the "perfect" handheld depends heavily on your actual use case

it's bad on the go emulation but great stationary emulation

A little big for on the go but yeah, the specs are fine, buttons are great. You missed a sale a few days ago.

Also, do NOT go cheaper than SD 8Gen2 for PS2.
