>>733671520Stronghold 1 DE isn't really doing anything of note. And new campaigns suck. Rat is fielding knights everywhere too in them.Crusader is actually cool. There are finally far bigger maps (800x800, originally only 400x400). Coop mode, both new campaigns and trails are nice. New AI lords come both in free updates and dlcs and now they also added a way to easily create your own AI lords or modify existing ones. There are new units and a lot of other gimmicks. Like customizable invasions on Free Build. It's a straight upgrade.Both games have steam workshop so it's easier to download maps and people have invective to make more stuff.I still wish they reworked them more radically. Both games should have been combined into one. And muslims made into completely separate faction. I always disliked mercenaries and deem them a terrible idea. Letting you bypass entire production chain like this is so boring and antithetical to this game design.
