>>733675062I would be livid. Galaxyshit is so fucking slow and boring and none of the levels are anything but linear shit with zero exploration which goes entirely against 3D Mario design principles. My favorite game ever is Sunshine and Nintendo keeps fucking mishandling it. It went 18 years without being ported or rereleased once until 3D All Stars and its shitty timed release garbage, unnecessarily minced up tutorial audio and cropped cutscenes, and now it's set to be stuck on NSO but even that is taking forever. Last year was Mario's 40th anniversary and the NSO Gamecube app launched before the start of that Summer. July or August would've been the perfect opportunity to put Sunshine on NSO but here we are a year after being announced with nothing, anniversary come and gone. Galaxy is on Switch twice already and so is 64. Every 3D Mario except Sunshine has gotten some kind of sequel or remake, (64 & 64DS, Galaxy 1&2, 3DLand & World) and while you might say Odyssey fits in that category, it's the newest 3D Mario game and a sequel is still on the table. Sunshine has been getting snubbed for years now to the point where fans of the game like me are being left high and dry because we can't play it without either having original hardware, buying the shitty rerelease with fucked up cutscenes for reseller prices, or pony up for the newest console and the highest tier of online subscription. If after all Nintendo has done to keep Sunshine out of fans' hands they released ANOTHER boring Galaxy game after a 5/9 year hiatus for 3D Mario depending on whether you count Bowser's Fury, I'd tear all my hair out. I might legitimately burst a blood vessel just thinking about it and I would almost consider it a personal attack for how specific their 3D Mario release strategy is to be the exact opposite of what I want. Sorry for the rant but I would freak out if they announced Galaxy 3, and not in the good way.
