Anons, I ordered a Steam Deck last week (UK) that is being delivered tomorrow but I'm not sure if I should keep it or not, as I already have a Switch 2 for handheld games and a PS5 for AAA gamesShould I keep it or return it?
>>733676270Give it to me.
If you prefer your Switch 2 because it's a handheld then I mean, probably keep it but just be aware that some new AAA games struggle on it. If you mostly use your Switch 2 docked and aren't interested in using the Deck as an emulation machine then maybe return it?I dunno motherfucker, you tell me what you bought it for.
Steam Deck is ancient at this point you might as well spent a few hundred more and go Windows Handheld that actually does play everything
>>733676714Emulation and some RPGs that are on Switch 1 that don't perform great like Triangle Strategy, Octopath etc. That, and a bit of fomo as it's out of stock in every country in the world except the UK.
>>733677154If it's an emulation machine, the alternative would be to buy an emulation handheld specifically for that for like $60-70~ USD but the Deck can emulate up through PS3 and some Switch so it's going to be a lot better than an emulation handheld unless you only want very old games that you could have played on your phone with a pair of phone joycon anyway. But if you're going to pirate games at all, the Deck probably pay for itself. A lot of third party Switch 1 games don't have 60 fps patches yet so that's also a viable way to use it if you want to play some games like Triangle Strategy on a handheld but I guess you could buy a PS Portal in that scenario too. Personally, I'd keep it and pirate shit on it because it'd pay for itself.
>>733676270Return both The piss5 and steaming pile of shit deck
>>733676270No you didn't. The Steam Deck has been sold out for at least 2 weeks. Stop making this worthless thread.
>unsubtle macaco thread where he once again tries to foment hate between pc and Nintendo users-494573 karma to ziony, fraid so
>>733676270You can play the entire library of PS2 games (except Hitman, but the PC versions work fine) with 2x upscaling flawlessly on the deck, you won't touch your other systems for years after getting it.
>>733678098>any console manufacturer hate needs to be formentedIf you had a modicum of discernment you would have understood that all console manufacturers started fleecing their customers during the 7th gen. Every single one of them is a negative force on the industry and hates you, their customers. They see you as walking wallets.
>>733676270>Anons, I ordered an infinite buffet last week (UK) that is being delivered tomorrow but I'm not sure if I should keep it or not, as I already have a pez dispenser for snacks and a pack of lunchables for bigger meals.>Should I keep it or return it?
It’s handy if you are away from home for extended periods or your TV is occupied by family. I ended up selling mine but the device was fine and did what it was supposed to. I’m just not suited to handhelds of any kind let alone this one (kinda bulky to hold for an hour+). If you like tinkering with settings and want a portable pc you’ll probably be happy. Be sure to lookup a lossless guide if you plan to run any decently new game like Death Stranding.I don’t tinker with settings, mods or emulate and use my phones browsing so I’ll stick to ps5 and big screen gaming.
i am glad i happened to decide to get a steamdeck right before they all sold out.
>>733677592Can these android devices even emulate PS3 games properly? Since the Deck is a PC, that means it can use RPCSN, slippi, fightcade, SaveMGO2 or any of the active online emulation platforms. Not sure if those are on android.
>>733676270It will surely run videogames better than the switch plus it can be connect it to a TV and play it from couch. I say keep it.
>>733676270As a console user for nearly 30 years, the deck is the best handheld I've ever bought. It's so much better than consoles it's not even funny.
>>733676270You should keep it because it's going to jump in price.
>>733680743I think some of the higher end ones can via winlator but those are probably around the same price as a Deck anyway.
>xe fell for the deck scamlol
The deck's strength and value is directly proportional to how hard it assblasts tendies into the sun.
the deck is unironically the best value for a computer you can buy right now. 16gb of ddr5 ram is like 250-300 right now alone
>>733676270I would just wait for the Steam Deck 2
I have a Switch 2 and a Deck. They're both good. I do not have a PS5 because I'm not a retard.
>>733683401like the switch 2 can play anything new decently. I can stream my 5090 beast pc to the deck and mog all you nintendo trannies.
>>733684724Wait till you see the Lenovo Go
>>733676270If you're a tendie then you should return it. If you're a normal gamer you'll feel like selling your switch instead.
>>733687883Depends on the type of tendie. The deck is a better nintendo system than any of nintendo's own systems and it's not like nintendo is making good games these days.
>>733676270Keep all of them and download rom hacks and Chiaki on the Steam Deck.
>>733676270ancient technology
>buying outdated piss Deck in 2026Full retard
