Does anyone actually eve use Quality mode on PS5 or even Pro.Like you would have to be a literal "fake gamer" to ever willingly chose 30 fps just to get better graphics.Like at best i can see it being used by Sony fanboys to take screenshots and brag how the game looks just as good as PC version while hiding the fact its running at 30 fps.
>>733678320I'm going to be honest, i've been gaming since PS1 - have had several thousand dollar PCs, current PS5 pro as well, high end OLED screens with VRR. I really have never noticed much of a difference between 30 and 60 or 120. Tbqh I can play a choppy 20 fps game and not overly mind. I'd rather it look better every time.
I played tons of 30fps games on old consoles and even PS4 which still had 30fps as the norm.Sometimes I flick on quality mode and accept the perf tank if the graphical glow-up is worth it. Granted quality/resolution modes on console these days are more in the 40-50 range rather than 30. The only 30fps game I know of on modern console is dragon's dogshit 2, that game was spectacularly bad all round perf included.

>>733679139Wired question but do you wear glasses?I dont know why but nearly evry person i meat in real life defending 30 fps calming they can barely tell the difference between 30 and 60 seams to wear glasses.I never had glasses and i can tell and fell he difference between 30 and 60 in an instant. 60 and 120 is harder to notice but i can also tell if i do.Like at worst few time i ah the game running at 60 and i could have cranked it up to 120 but the fact is i will notice eventually. But 30 is like instantaneous notice for me.I also games on literally evry console ever made and had few PCs and 30 feels like a last resort frame-rate to me like if i literally have no choice. At best its kinda tolerable in turn based games.
>>733679635nta but I wear glasses and 60 is choppy to me now. 30 i wont play unless it's some fixed camera ps1 game or something.finishing returns hit for me around 100fps but I can notice higher easily. my tv is 120hz and my main monitor 280hz and even moving the cursor on the monitor is way smoother.
