Were Pokemon gen 1 and gen 2 the perfect game + sequel?
>>733687726Well were there any omorashi mechanics in these game?
The second game had horrible level scaling. By the time you get to Kanto you are terribly over leveled.
>>733687726gen 1 was just a crappy beta game
>>733687858Use new Pokemon you fucking stupid niggerHoly shit, Redditors need fucking killed
>>733687726No
>>733687772i guess you could headcanon water gun to work that way if you wanted.
>>733687726Didn't gen 2 cartridges have some sort of glitter?
>>733688121There's a lot of other signs those aren't authentic, but you're right that the original GSC cartridge bodies had sparkles in them.
>>733688498like there being a green one in English
Gen 2 was probably the perfect sequel but gen 1 was broken as fuck and even kids knew that. They expanded and fixed so many things that it shit all over RBY. Though really you could just play the GBA/DS titles and have more content then you'll ever need or want.
>>733687726Gen 3 (i.e. Emerald) is literally the only good generation of Pokemon.
>>733688121Those are not genuine carts
>>733687858The kanto area was a bonus area with only really one real challenge: beat Red.Besides if you think about it, it makes no sense for kanto trainers and monsters to be strong. You're already supposed to be a champion by then. Of course everybody else is going to be weaker, except the other champion.>but muh gameplayIf you actually cared about "gameplay", you wouldn't even play pokemon to begin with. This "game" is nothing but a power fantasy for children.
what can i realistically get for diamond pearl platinum set? basically untouched, i never took the booklets or nintendo rewards points shit out. i preordered D/P and i have the special styluses too. they have only been opened a few times and the carts were actually used and then stored on my shelf. the platinum box was probably opened twice. once to play the game and once to store it. the other two were probably a little more used but these are in crisp condition
>>733687726I remember gold very fondly. Most likely because every kid in school was also playing it or silver
>>733687858that's the fun part, blasting through the world you struggled with a few years ago. i wish this trend just continued throughout the series instead of building stupid worlds and throwing references and spinoffs. pokemon would have been really cool if it really progressed linearly
>>733689473>This "game" is nothing but a power fantasy for children. This is why no one took you Gen II faggots seriously.
the pokemon market is split between children who just want the games, and adults who want to make a "good investment" its the most cringe market i've ever seen literally boomer logic. "oh i want to do better than the next generation" its millenials turning into their dads
