This and nu-XCOM were the last times I had fun with a Tactical RPG. What are some good ones similar to Shadowrun in either gameplay, mechanics, atmosphere/theme? I'm a sucker for dystopian cyberpunk but at this point I'm just desperate for another good game.

play SMT devil survivor 1 and 2. not quite the same vibe and gameplay is quite a bit different, but they are great fun.

did you play invisible inc?
recommended, very dense stealth focused dystopian future xcom-like game

i got filtered by the artstyle at first but I'm glad I eventually gave it a try

Cyber Knights Flashpoint. The classes get some pretty ridiculous nanomachine powers which feels like magic. The tactical feel is good but it's gridless which means you have to get good at eyeballing distances fast (but before you move the game let's you know if your weapons are effective, which abilities can hit targets, and if anyone will hear or see you). Also the hacking minigame is fun because it's actually a completely different game mode rather than just more combat.

Colony Ship for sure
