Valkyrie Profile's best end requires quite a few obtuse actions. You have to do some things that you're very unlikely to do in a blind playthrough.

Honestly, it's not like the less good end is bad or anything, it's just that for the true ending the steps aren't all that easy to figure out on your own. They sorta make sense when you look back on them, but fuck me if I ever could've found it out myself. I'm pretty sure some things get hinted at, but figuring it all out yourself is unlikely or at least very time consuming.
