This is a franchise that lifted their models from the 3DS and sold it at AAA prices and people did it with a smile. This isn't even a matter of the Switch being underpowered Xenoblade Chronicles exists on the fucking Wii but Pokemon can't muster NPCs touching one another in real time. Final Fantasy 12 exists on the Playstation 2 but Pokemon has to make you fight in a void when someone picks a fight with you in a hotel. SV shops are all kiosks because they didn't model the inside of buildings except for the school and the pokemon center, all of which are the same room with different people. Most profitable ip on planet earth by the way.

The only major issue it has is the poor balancing that should have scaled gyms and Team Star to your level on top of not forcing you to do the school. Forcing you to do the school for TMs is really dumb, especially since it's all things you know if you're not playing it as your very first Pokemon game. You should at least be able to find stuff outside of it instead of being forced to answer "What is fire super effective against?".
