Why would you use less than 540hz?
>>
now put it at normal speed
>>
>>733693980

FPS/Hz doesn't mean shit when the server tick rate is 30.
>>
>>733694189
High IQ post.

Also
>Shill fags now want you to buy 144+hz screens

Lmao.
>>
>>733694189
drives me up the wall in d2r when the animations are 120fps+ and the game logic is 30 or whatever it was
>>
i can't tell the difference past stable 120 so i just set my global fps cap to that.
>>
>>733693980
Hz aren't real.
>>
>>733693980
A difference so insane you have to play at x0.125 speed to notice it!

You're forgetting that you need to play at 1080p or lower to reach those fps speeds. Imagine playing at 1080p in 2026.
>>
>>733694623
You'd be lucky to get 240fps native with a maxxed system in any game right now, that's the problem. There's a very real improvement in user experience, reaction time and quality of reaction because of better visual info, but so rarely will you actually be able to get the consistent numbers you need to make use of 240hz+ screens.
>>
>Video title says 360hz
>Video shows off 540hz
You trying to cheat me boy?
>>
>>733693980
stable 120fps is the most anyone really needs
beyond 120 the diminishing returns kick in so hard it's just a waste of the GPU really
>>
>>733693980
I dont play games in slo mo
>>
>>733694623
fps > resolution

At some point a CPU becomes a bottleneck. Usually fairly low in the pecking order, so it's not like the argument is dropping 240p

although res scalars are without any hint of irony getting so good that even 240p doesn't look THAT bad if there are still meaningful gains to be had from the CPU.

No you don't
>>
>>733693980
The human eye can't see individual frames past 24 or so, and anything beyond that is just blurring together. Caring about frame rate is meaningless drivel used to generate hype from the ones with nothing meaningful in their lives
>>
>>733693980
Higher is just objevtively better. Everything else is poorfag cope. 1000hz on an OLED panel, even if the content is only 60fps, gives u the motion clarity of a CRT.

looks fine on my 144hz

>>733694623
>He's playing above 1080p
Lmao. I'll enjoy my Ultra Settings + 240hz + UI support.
>>
>>733693980
You don't see slow motion, motion blur can compensate for deficient update to show each pixel joined, and visuals will be better at lower frame rate. Demanding more updates degrades games. Just need to work on less input lag, maybe through prediction.
>>
>>733693980
ok now play them in real time
>>
>>733698541
>motion blur can compensate
motion blur is the issue brainlet
>>
>>733693980
because you cant get more than 200 fps in anything other than esports slop
