Now that the dust is practically settling as we speak, how will the Xbox brand be remembered? What will Microsoft's legacy be in the gaming industry?
Halo 3 was my introduction to the FPS genre along with voice chat, the 360 will live on forever for me with my memories of that along with Reach and CoD Black Ops 1+2.

I'm probably wrong about some stuff, but here's my guess.
Xbox was a solid console and 360 was great. I want to say that early 360 XBL also helped shape the perception of gamers, at least in the US, because of how infamously toxic it became.
>how will the brand be remembered
Early 2000s kino in the US, the rest of the world probably didn't care
>Microsoft's legacy
Heterosexual warefare shooters that were incredibly popular in the early 2000s and then fell off with bad decision after bad decision.

I genuinely cannot remember what any xbox past the 360 are called. That presentation was where it all ended.

Nintendo has a legacy, Sega has a legacy, Valve has a legacy, mother fucking Sony has a legacy. How, how, how the hell does Microsoft's shitty console not have a legacy?
