>3 tech demos>1 fully abandoned game>1 unplayable gamegreat track record
>>733700634Kinda weird how a company with infinite money and the most talented Devs on the planet just chases trends like they were owned by Bobby kottick. I think there's something wrong with American culture, if valve was European or Japanese they would be pumping out much weirder shit
>>733700634All of these are utter shit. Their last good game was Portal 2 in 2010/2011.
>>733700762Being under duress, still can happen to almost anyone regardless of social status. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_hN5BnJeees&pp=ygUVTGltaXRpbmcgcHJvZ3Jlc3Mgam9u https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=foD12CNSAOc&pp=ygUjTW9zdCBzdWNjZXNzZnVsIHBlcnNvbiBzYXRhbmljIGN1bHTSBwkJogoBhyohjO8%3D
>>733700762>the most talented Devs on the planetAnon, they don't have any devs. They have new hires that maintain Steam. Poorly, since it never fucking works and Steam Web Helper regularly eats fucking 30gb of RAM.
>>733700762>chases trendsthey set trends
>>733700762>most talented Devs on the planetWhat are you even talking about? They haven't had almost any game devs since 2005. Their only developers are UI devs working on the Steam Client and backend devs working on the service. They only have a handful of developers who aren't even doing anything. All other devs are outsourced from other companies or organizations. Most of Valve is just customer service.>>733704281Nope, they're definitely trend chasers. Their card game was chasing after Hearthstone, MTG, Pokemon and Yugioh. It was a flop and the most obvious trend chasing game. Their new shooter game is chasing after Overwatch and Marvel Rivals and it looks like it's a flop. Dota 2 was chasing after League and it's shit compared to League. I don't even know what Dota Underlords is but I assume it's just a clone of League's TFT. Counter Strike, Dota2 and Portal aren't even their own projects technically. Dota was a WC3 map and Dota 2 only got made because League was starting to get popular. CS was a Half Life mod and Portal also came from acquired devs.I don't see them doing anything that is "setting trends" at all. Their last few games were complete failures. They're only "setting trends" when it comes to being a game store front.
