P:T was a victim of its time, being released when everyone still thought RPG absolutely has to have combat. If it had the balls to drop the combat and focus only on other aspects of RPGs (characters, skill checks) like DE did, it would have been even better.

I know some of you are already bitching at each other around Disco Elysium's flaccid little cock but no, DE doesn't actually come close, though it is in the neighborhood.I'm not even sure new generations have the patience to read this much, though for what few among them might actually be literate may enjoy it the setting its designed around with the aesthetics of a high-fantasy cirque du soleil that speaks to millenials and gen-x more than it does to gen-z and on, so it may not engage them as easily. It just doesn't do it for them the way it does older nerds, sadly.

I did not care for it but it's a personal problem. For some reason I can't get into games with that kind of brown/grey aesthetic or grim vibe at all. fallout, pst, most recently tainted grail (etcetc), if there's some sort of wartorn plagued destitute post apocalyptic vibe I simply do not want to be in that world.It's a shame because I feel like a philistine when it comes to this game specifically but oh well, I'd rather replay baldur's gate for the 100th time instead.

Terrible remaster with black lines around characters.Camera isn't centered on The Nameless One, like in Diablo. It isn't Diablo. Not a lot of land to explore, and when you do you run into boundries.The sequel is turn based shit.
