Yeah, though it also was also at a point for Minecraft and the internet that playing the game actually mattered to people. The videos and community were actually complimentary to Minecraft, rather than being an easy platform to understand when making videos for the ADHD retards created by the internet.

It was all Yogscast or Mindcrack shit where one or more morons just posted 10-20 minutes of unedited playing with zero interesting commentary. Just describing exactly what they were doing.
Maybe 1 harsh jumpcut between before and after starting a build or some Redstone.
Zero quality control or production value. Just straight Fraps->upload.
