I got the Switch 2 version of Remake and I just got to sector 5, I'm kind of bored, which is a shame since I really like the original game and Advent Children for entirely different reasons. Do you think Rebirth will be something I will enjoy once it comes to Switch 2?

My opinion is probably worthless because remake is the only FF game I've ever played and i also have rebirth (both on steam) and rebirth doesn't seem anywhere near as cool as remake did, to me. But I'm not a FF fan so make of that what you will.
rebirth is better than remake, but if you don't like remake then you probably won't like rebirth

>>733711041Pretty much.Rebirth has a more open world structure (open zone, whatever) and sticks more closely to the original narrative when it comes to major story beats, there's less made up filler here at least as far as the main sequences are concerned.But it's still largely the same party dynamics, humor,, melodrama, and core gameplay, so if you don't like those things I wouldn't bother

It basically let's you remove the RPG part from the equation completely and you can focus on mashing the dopamine buttons.

I hate this games combat its braindead and imbalanced it's a ubisoft game in the form of final fantasy. Take remake and instead of a hallway between 3 areas you run around aimlessly in fields doing the same 4 things over and over. And more cringe faggotry which goes beyond jrpg faggotry. FF13 series is unironically better.

I liked the combat a lot more in Rebirth, the team up dynamics are great.Hoping that Vincent and Cid are fun to play in the next game. I'm assuming that Vincent's random boss fight from Renake was to test animations and Cid is pretty much going to play like Solon in Intermission
