I figured that i enjoy reading much more than following a story in game. Can you recommend me a good game without a bloated story, something simple but enjoyable for many hours? I work remotely, so i read in my free time, but I also wanted to try out some games. My primary notiion is that a shitty book will always tell a better story than something like er, etc.

pic rel is Herman Hesse, highly recommend siddartha and steppenwolf, great books.

thx guys

pathologic 2, wouldn't really say it's anything like hesse but if you can appreciate him maybe you'll appreciate that

>not bloated
>playable for many hours
I find in almost all games, once you have something that has to take hours of time, the story tends to get bloated
Psychonauts is the only game story i can think of that is godo, simple, and long

>Herman Hesse
Limbus Company reference

I just listen to audiobooks while I play nonsense games like Halls of Torment and Cruelty Squad
I was just listening to Tender is the Flesh by Bazterrica. Shitty book but holy shit did it turn me on. Some of my best faps in recent memory.

this maybe isn't applicable to what you'rs asking for here but if you're /lit/erate you might enjoy the Anthology of The Killer
