Like, you're not gonna use the edit on the card you have 4 copies of, that's what the Chaos is for. You're gonna use it on the cards you have 1 copy of that just didn't roll the right epiphany, where otherwise the deck is "perfect"

In case you are wondering how you can have a deckbuilder in a gacha game:You pull for combatants like any other gacha, they all start out with 5 cards. Stuff like boss battles, daily quests, endurance runs and challanges all use decks that you build in the "Chaos" mode. That is basically you playing slay the spire with 3 combatants. Everyone starts with their default decks and you will have to play the Chaos in a way to build your deck. In Season 1 this was a lot of RNG but they got a lot better about giving you ways to manipulate it. Every season has new neutral cards and gimmicks for you to make decks with.Fair warning, the devs are happy to nerf characters if players figure out endless combos. In the very first season, the best party was three 4 Star combatants who could basically go endless with a bit of luck. It you are not a perfectionist and like to play with hand you have been dealt, it is legit a fun game to play around with.Also, this is Magna, my idiot adventure loving wife.

It's effectively intended to just be where you make save data.Also, they will be releasing some sort of hardcore Chaos mode at some point in the future that uses save data and I'm assuming Distortion Adaption won't be a thing there.
