Its pretty addicting and fun especially making different choices than Captain insaneway made
I swear I fail every check under 80%
>>733717569I'm still on the fence about this game. I played the demo before it came out and thought it was decent, but I was curious how deep the decision making can get. Like, CAn I just abandon Neelix and Kes, or let Seven of Nine just run borg shit all over the ship
>>733719535You can do all those and it'll drastically affect the heroes you have or have left on the ship. I was told the amount of borg tech you incorporate affecting the ending supposedly.
>>733717569Waiting on a good discount, unless you can prove its more than a mobile game.
I had fun with it but I hope they add more contentDon't tell me we can't have Q because of rights or whatever
>>733717569Bump for interest.
>>733717569I tried it for a bit and disliked the heavy RNG for basic actions.>You want to refuel your ship?>Too bad, you get nothing and half your crew is dead/injured
>>733720972This is like mini Civilization meets Organ trail with FTL in the mix
>>733722267I didn't like Civilization or FTL
>>733722853Then this game isn't for you
theres coffee in that nebula
I always thought Kes actor was replaced by 7 of 9 by studio exec as a means of getting sex appeal and viewers and Kes was done dirty with a unceremonious send off but years later when it came to light Kes actor had some serious mental health issues changed my opinion on Kes replaced with 7 of 9 controversy
>>733718562how often does that matter?
>>733728054When you harvest resources on a planet it has an RNG dice roll from small chance of getting like 2x the predicted resources, getting the resources predicted, getting jack squat or getting jack squat and having quarter of voyagers systems be destroyed and need to be repaired. Couple of back to back bad dice rolls can destroy voyager before they reach the end of season 1 in game time
Not gonna lie when the voyager theme played on the menu it hit me with nostalgia tears
can you kill Tuvix?
>>733731016Yep and I killed his ass too in my 1st playthrough because losing both Tuvak and neelix is pretty crippling to your officer rotation
Can I push Chakotay out an airlock?
>>733731576Did the actor give you a cold shoulder at a fan convention or something?
>>733728170What about away mission or story checks? Watched someone stream it for a bit and he failed a check but nothing actually happened and his team just proceeded the mission.
>>733731778Doubt it, Chakotay is not a good character. Not that it was Beltran's fault.
>>733717569>addictingUse english you ridiculous minstrel nog
>>733731936You away team officers take damage and if they take one too many hits they're killed and gone for good.
>>733731994The writers wanted to use his Native American roots to interject into the narrative and realized that was a dumb ass idea. Then they toyed around with the concept of a 1st officer and captain having a relationship but hardcore trekkies would've burned them at the stake so they decided to ham fist Chakotay with 7 of 9 which made no sense what so ever.
>>733731576Acoochiemoya, we are far from the bones of our ancestors, please let me back into the ship.
Bump this shit and don't let it die
Just post some gameplay webms.
>>733717569>Borg-tech includes a room that passively heals the ship hull by 5 every cycleHoly shit, best room in the game.>>733721539I hope I'm reading it wrong, but their blogpost from a couple of hours ago makes it seems like they're not looking to add more contenthttps://store.steampowered.com/news/app/2643390/view/529872149958101738>Present>But surely as well, that doesn't mean we can lay back and relax - as you were able to read in our recent blogpost(s) we are tinkering on a manual quick save to counter the feedback you have given us in the first days after launch, that the auto save system needed some refinement.>This patch still needs to be finalized and then checked internally (so it doesn’t break anything else in the meantime) - and then we can send it live - so have some more (work)days of patience with us, please.>Future>Afterwards (not mentioning smaller bugfixes along the way) our focus will shift from save games to crashes/performance and difficulty level/harshness.>Even though a rough estimate of ~60% of you seem to be fine with the difficulty, we surely want to see if we can adjust some things to make it more pleasant for the other 30-40%.
>>733717569How much Fallout Shelter is in there? I kinda hate that micro-managing stuff.
>>733719535>and thought it was decentshills en mass for this game - the game is objectively terrible and should have been a mobile game
>>733736446It's more like frostpunk and FTL.You'll be spending a lot of time managing your ship and building/upgrading rooms.
>>733736585thanks anon
>>733731190And because it's the right thing to do.
>look at reviews>everyone shitting on it for being ball-busting RNG and buggyThis is how Voyager should've been. Year of Hell Mode where only Ensign Harry Kim survives.
>>733731016>>733737781I'm killing Tuvix next run because he has no dialogue after his recruitment, no quest relevance, actively makes the game harder because he can't sub in for any Tuvok or Neelix sections, and I REALLY want to listen to Tuvok's personal logs at the beginning of each sector.
>>733728535I thought it doesn't have any original music?
>>733740529The original demo had no original music, while the new demo and full release have Voyager's opening theme for the main menu and when you read personal logs. The game also has a streamer mode toggle, which just switches out the voyager theme for the shitty original demo theme.
>>733740529just in the main menuwhen you start the game it just starts blasting generic synth music and giving you TERRIBLE voice acting
>>733726810
>>733740760What in the AI fucking on in this picture?
>>733741371Poor little jeet
Dont know absolutely anything about star trek. Would i be able to enjoy it?
I haven't played it, but I heard it's a little boring if you've actually seen Voyager seeing as it just retreads episodes from the show for all its content. Is that true or are you given enough input that it feels like you get to branch off of what actually happened in an interesting way?
>>733741636You get to use the caretaker array in the beginning and fuck over the Ocampas and play a "scenario B" of Voyager if they made it back Alpha quadrant in Episode 1
>>733717569I made two B'elanna's...can i give one to Seven and one to Tom?Also...why the fuck would i keep Tuvik and lose two characters for one middling one? Janeway was right.
>>733741556Its basically the five or so seasons of the show, you will be alright not knowing the canon.
>>733727543Yeah, she molested a kid or something...like in That 70s Show how the sister dissapears as the show goes on, she was a huge druggie and went out of control.
>>733742325Wait...how low is that scenario?I was gonna do that but, i assumed thats just an ending.
