Galaxy 2's Green Stars were the precursor to Korok Seeds and Power Moons
>>
am I the only one that liked them? yeah they weren't "content" but it was kinda fun to just have a little hunt throughout the maps you've been through
the only ones that sucked ass were the ones that were visible from the opening animation, that's lame. but its much better than the modern thing like the hidden platforms in splatoon or power moons which are handed out like candy everywhere
>>
I see similarities, but I'd excuse green stars with the justification that they were purely bonus content.
They were only availible after you already 100%'ed the main game.

Koroks seeds are part of the main content in botw.
Power moons are THE main objective in odyssey.

I thought they were really fun to collect, unlike korok seeds and unlike power moons.
>>
I saw them as part of the difficulty curve. This is where the game halfway expects you to pay attention to your surroundings and execute sequences of moves off-script, then it leads into the last set of levels which are the actual test.
