They have changed up their usual formula enough, in my opinion. Bloodborne, Sekiro and I would say even Elden Ring are different to the DS trilogy. What you never want to do is completely throw away the formula and create something entirely new. You want to iterate on it and change it up every now and then.

And the difference between FS games are definitely a lot bigger than COD and FIFA.
