Anything worth playing from the Archive? Delisted or abandonware.
>>733724347Abandonware is just cope, you still are a piratefag. If you weren't born to buy a copy when it was still being sold, too bad.
>>733724347Its great for edutainment games from your youth. The only real game ive downloaded was the sims 1 and 2 but now theyre being sold again idk if theyre still up.
If it's worth playing it's on gog, simple as
>>733724449who gives a fuck go suck mickey mouses dick about it
>>733724347Transformers DevastationRide to Hell Retribution if you have fun playing around with broken garbage
>>733724767>Ride to Hell RetributionThat's a good one. Played through it on 360.
>>733724347I've found Virtual Skipper 5 on the archive. Pretty comfykino imho.
tony hawk's undergroundneeds a nocd crack and clownjob'd mod for proper controls and arbitrary resolution support, might have to look outside the archive for those
>>733724347Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends. Super underrated RTS. The factions are Steampunk Italians, Arabian Niiiiiiights, and Ancient Alien Aztecs. Game also has pieces of two extra factions in Ice Age Vikings and something that seems to be Sengoku era Japan inspired.
>>733724347portmaster stuff, be careful of brazilian uploaders THOUGH, viruses and in portuguese
>>733724347LauraB and ValensiyaS- GYUTO SHITTE (MUSICAL VIDEO)
>>733724347Dark Souls PTDE is on there. I think the original PC port of Gears of War also.
>>733724347The Transformers games from the 2010s (War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron) are fun shooters.https://archive.org/details/transformers-fall-of-cybertronMind you, they're from a time where PC-ports of console games were an afterthought, so they require some tinkering. You can find tutorials online if you'd like higher frame-rates and revived multiplayer.I heard Devastation was good too, but I haven't played it.
>>733724347Morrowind with OpenMW and tamriel rebuilt installed
OP you reminded me to look for sunstorm's Deer Hunter 4 on Archive or else see if it can be downloaded at 9kb/s from abandonedgames
>>733724449(You) need to step up your bait game bro. I got second-hand embarrassment reading this. Just sad
https://archive.org/details/oasis_202009Pretty simple but unique strategy game, could be fun for a few evenings.https://archive.org/details/reflexive-collection-34-gamesAs the name suggests, a bunch of minigames. Good to sift through if you have nothing else in mind. Pretty sure there was a bigger pack somewhere but can't find it now.You can also find Alien Shooter on there which is kinda like Serious Sam with isometric view, although there are a bunch of different versions and I dunno which one is better.
>>733724449This, these little zoom zoom goys weren't even sperm cells when we were plaything these games, they don't deserve to get them for free.Either wait for companies to give you a pity release or pay us premium for a copy.
There's that one japanese PC game collection dump that has a bunch of old eroge in it.
>>733724347Yeah. Plenty of things that might be lost forever in a few years because of AI and content censorship laws being passed.>Sonic Heroes PC>Sonic Riders PC>Silent Hill 2 PC>Disc version of Mass Effect>Disc version of Mass Effect 2I recommend getting Mass Effect that way because you get the picrel launcher which the Steam/EA versions have removed.>Xbox 360 copies of games you need for Xenon Recomp>Plenty of demos of games you can't find anymore>>733724967Is there some true danger in downloading from brazil uploaders? Like, will you get in trouble or something? Tbh, the whole thing about having to be logged in feels like a honeytrap with how much copyrighted content there is.
Its been a million years but A community patch for achron is floating around with a reverse engineered matchmaking server. Its a very cool game, real time time travel rts. But its very hard to enjoy.
>>733724347Some of the Wild Tangent Games are fun if a bit mindless. Shit like pic related and Polar Bear Golf
Last few games I downloaded from Internet Archive/My Abandonware:Sonic HeroesSimpsons Hit & RunTheme HospitalInterestingly, the one I played the most was Simpsons Hit & Run thanks to the fairly large modding scene behind the Donut team.

>>733724449the fuck you mean too bad, I'll get that game and you can do none about it faggot, suck it up.
>>733728383I started that game at some point and while its gimmick is really cool and well done, my God the core game is painful to play. Units move and attack like in Dune 2 and visual coherence is ass. I remember one mission gives you a bunch of different units and it was pretty fucking hard to distinguish units by their looks, at best you can tell that smaller ones are infantry.
>>733724347Surehttps://archive.org/details/@rohankar
>>733729073>IndianI'll pass. Thanks though.
>>733729193I played lots of his stuff and its been fine no jeet called me or my grandma to scam us.
>>733724347Nocturne
>>733728979Only tip i remember is never retreat or reposition units. If you need to retreat go back in time and cancel the attack instead. The time travel concept is so darn compelling.
>>733728465>midriffSell me on it, is it a pacman clone?
>>733724347Feels really good to find every single entry of a game series on the archive.
>>733729507a jeet's dna wormed its way through the computer screen. I can feel it. The installer smells like curry.
>>733724347I think Lego Racers kight be on there.
>>733724767>DevastationGod I love that game. I would had killed for a sequel, but watching the status Hasbro has put the series in maybe it's for the best
>>733724449>If you weren't born to buy a copy when it was still being sold, too bad. Why? I'd rather zoomies actually get to experience these games even if they weren't alive at the time
>>733724347SIlent hill 2, with the community mod
>>733724347Unfortunately there’s countless mod pages that’s it archived without archiving the mods. So many great mods lost because it only archived the first page of a modding site but not the files whilst obsessively archiving Wikipedia.

>>733724347Imma share a few, since the Archive is a wonder to preserve history of vidya itselfhttps://archive.org/details/need-for-speedtm-most-wanted-install-dischttps://archive.org/details/battlezone-win-en-windows-installerhttps://archive.org/details/20230723_20230723_0858>>733724449Be careful or the faggot admin from VOGONS and that tranny leilelol will pop up here saying that REEEEEEEE ABANDONWARE IS LE BAD NMUH RETRO PIRACY IS LE BAD!

>entire libraries of games are hosted here, all the way up to gen 7>hurr durr is anything on this worth playingWhat the fuck is this thread
>>733724449You're the one coping if you think anyone is going to stop downloading abandonware just because it's "piracy". Even for people who are morally against piracy in general and want to support the developers, the thought process regarding abandonware basically goes like this:>gamer: "Take my money!">publisher: "No.">gamer: "Oh, okay." [downloads the thing anyway]
>>733728383and where's the link?
>>733740652https://archive.org/details/achron-collectionCollection zip with the mac and linux builds,
>>733740858thanks I've been interested in this game for a while
>>733724347There are a lot of old gems there you'll never find anywhere else like flashes or ancient doujin games
>>733743292>you'll never find anywhere elseThis is already a massive failure of game preservation. If it's only available on one server, it might as well not exist.
>>733743789Sadpanda does not hoard old h-games and ATF is dying. It is time for a secondary archive
>>733724347The only games I've downloaded from Internet Archive were Klax, and Magical Drop 3. In other words, old games that you can't find anywhere else.

>>733724626Do they have any Dr brain games? The FPS one was one of the first FPS I ever played
>>733724347Freelancer. Though I got it from some abandonware site, it had latest patches, no clue what version is on the archive.
>>733724347I like this guys stuff. Everything is patched to work on modern computers. A lot of good games.https://archive.org/details/@rohankar
>>733744656How does this even work? Are the companies just too lazy to DMCA them off here?
>>733724767>Ride to HellGet the fuck out of here. That got a PC port?
Get Atomic Bomberman, the BEST bomberman game ever.
>>733747394https://archive.org/details/ride-to-hell-retribution_202601
>>733747724You have made me a happy man, anon. And I just finished rewatching the TBFP let's play, so this game is still fresh in my mind
>>733746264These are delisted games. Abandonware. Why would they DMCA that shit if its in licensing limbo. Only turbo ultra kike tier companies would DMCA stuff like that or when theres already shit going on to re-list or re-release these.
>>733747861It's from this guy >>733744656 so it's fully patched to work. Just download and run. Enjoy fren.
