i'm playing this game. it took me a long time to get intoi the groove of it, restarted my playthrough 4 times because i felt like i fucked it up too much to be able to continue. now that i "get it" i am having a ton of fun. the biggest thing that the devs should have done was put more ammo in the shops, i didn't realize that the shop refills on rest. what i do now is rest>shop>buy ammo>repeat until i feel i have sufficient ammo. it's annoying and just adds time and actions needlessly, but it made the game not feel like i was unable to progress.

>>733727571in the very early game (before i realized you can refill the shop by resting) i did not have enough ammo to get anywhere. i would move forward, get into a battle, run out of ammo, die, come back with a debuff and less ammo, try and do the thing again but some enemies had respawned. it felt like it was punishing me for my mistakes too hard. it felt like if i didn't play perfectly, i wasn't going to get anywhere. i realize now that is wrong, but it didn't feel that way when i started. could have been avoided by just having more ammo in the shop or not making the shop ammo limited.
