Objectively, Ekans is the worst choice, with Arbok having by far the worst BST out of the three when fully-evolved on top of a pretty mediocre movepoolIn comparison, Crobat has good stats and good utility, while Weezing has two fantastic abilitiesBut Ekans is my nigga so I'm picking him anyways

Weezing isn't amazing but it's still the best in Gen 1, afterwards it faces competition from Crobat, assuming rocket grunts are even allowed to evolve their Golbat (it makes them look too nice).

Ekans/Arbok only good for pissing off people with wrap spam.Koffing/Weezing is the best option if you're in gen 1. Zubat/Golbat sucks, but Crobat rules, and beats out Weezing in terms of power and moveset. Not available gen 1, though.Poison types suck dick. Their only purpose originally was to force you to spend money on antidotes.
