Every Fromsoft game I expect to be bad always ends up way more fun than I thought it would. And I kind of expect Duskbloods to be bad so it must be good.

I expect it to be a multiplayer game with shit netcode that runs like ass and struggles with a gameplay identity crisis.

People get their hopes high because Fromsoft can do no wrong but let's be realistic here. This is a Switch prestige piece that exists solely so Nintendo can say their console doesn't just release games for children and their predators. Being good or bad is largely irrelevant to why this game is being made and the level of effort and budget involved will likely reflect that.

Even in the best case scenario the switch developer environment is absurdly limiting to a game like this and Fromsoft won't have the benefit of an internal team running technical interference for them like they did with Sony for Bloodborne.

Just set your expectations accordingly.
