The new hitman trilogy is surprisingly good. I was extremely skeptical as it was released right in the middle of the most pozzed era of vidya in history, but it is very good. Especially after the Absolution. It's not perfect, of course, but it is an extremely solid hitman experience.
>>733735885I don't like that they injected him with the emotion syringe and made him a vigilante instead of a hitman
>>733735885Good games thread?
>>733735885it is very fun. the only "lacking" thing is the dumb AI but i get why it is like that. freelancer mode is also very fun too
>>733735885>The new hitman trilogyNew trilogy as in 5-10 years ago? They're alright. World of Assassination is a shit product though
>>733735885I only played the first one. The first couple of missions were good but it felt like the latter missions were less dense and had less work put into them. Kinda mid overall.
>hitman starter pack on sale for 3 bucks>"Does not include VR or Freelancer modes.">cheapest edition that includes VR is ~30 bucks on salewell fuck you then
>Berlin map is kino in art direction, game design, multiple targets>music is absolutely mid and forgettable WE SHOULD'VE HAD SOMETHING LIKE THIShttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F6VJQZxeWNY
>>733735885the way it was so confusingly packaged was wack, but level for level, it is seriously a masterclass in level design. for my playstyle, the "hints" system or whatever made it vastly more satisfying than the previous games; you can basically play it like an adventure/puzzle game.the berlin nightclub level is absolutely goated
>>733735885I'm too much of a boomer to understand how to even buy this shit.Call me when I just pay for one game and get everything without any of the timed FOMO shit.
>>733737724>the "hints" system or whatever made it vastly more satisfying than the previous games; you can basically play it like an adventure/puzzle gameDoes he know?
>>733737894Buy "world of assassination" it's a "one game" with every map from all 3 parts
>>733738070World of Assassination has multiple purchase tiers
>>733737894Just pirate it, offline progression has been fixed ages ago
>>733738070Does it have all the content though? Also I want to play offline only as my gaming PC isn't connected to the internet for security reasons.
>>733736965I wish there was more hits where its clear that 47 is in the wrong for killing them
>>733738223Check steam options first to be sure you have all the content. You can play offline if you want, online is only for achievements and to view global records
>>733738361Unlocking gear for missions isn't tied to online anymore?
>>733738223They introduced time-limited DLCs because they're greedy cunt. If you're going to play offline you'll want to look into Peacock for Hitman WOA. It allows you to host your own server. There's custom content people have added and you can play the delisted DLC.
>>733737420but Hokkaido is the best map
>>73373831947 was always meant to be a sort of an anti-hero. Yes, he's evil but he also gets rid of other evil, so he's kind of "useful evil".>>733736965It was the same in blood money
Hitman is genuinely an extremely good game, but i'd recommend The Peacock Project with a first person mod, most fun I have had in a long while, put over 100 hours into the game with that alone, I do want to get back into it eventually but they started pushing updates again so I decided to take a little break from it, I have played it enough though that I want to play without any "cheat features" that emulate Agent 47's abilities/awareness, like being able to see through walls and things of that nature, i'd imagine it'd be a completely different game.
>>733738553It's very aesthetic but there isn't as much to do in it compared to the early missions
