Lol I skipped fallout 4 completely. Is it good? I played 3 and new vegas back on Xbox 360. Might check it out now that it's on switch 2

Only if you like collecting trash, building lifeless settlements and modifying weapons. It's not a bad adventure game at all and the map can be fun to explore, but it's no RPG and there's very little Fallout in it.

It is a very mediocre shooter, a very bad action game, and has very underwhelming role-playing elements. The only reason to play it is if you like trash collection, exploration to aquire said trash, and building settlements from delapidated metal/wooden sheets for NPCs that have next to no life in them.

I know. The only reason I kept playing F4 was because I found the shooting mechanic actually good (for a Bethesda game) and the worldspace nice. But even then the lack of interesting factions and characters and the lack of settlements (there are only two big ones) made the game feel really lifeless and I dropped it at level 27, even though much of it is just Skyrim with guns. People say the only real piece of good writing in it is the Far Harbor expansion.
