Even if there's only one lantern for the entire group the cold wouldn't be an issue because everyone is going to stick close to the lantern guy. If you're alone in the dark you're pretty much dead anyway so it doesn't really matter. I feel like it'd just be a normal Pitch Black run with a bit more stamina consumption.
