Seems like the console gamers will be mostly priced out but microsoft can still probably sell a lot such as for AI datacenters that might order truckloads of them.Since it will come with full windows 11 there will be nothing stopping companies from buying it up to use only for productivity.Good news: it will almost certainly not get canceled or delayed and it will sell well.Bad news: the people who actually want to use it to play games might have difficulties optaining it similar to how people had a lot of trouble obtaining 30-series GPUs due to cryptominers buying them up in droves. And due to the ram shortage they might struggle to keep the supply up to meet demand. When your supply is limited like that the most profitable approach (short term) is to sell it to the highest bidder such as 4000$ per xbox and ship directly to some datacenter (they could always make some more expensive model to specifically target enterprise customers).
>>733739265Datacenters don't want these
Day 1.Can't imagine I'll have much competition.
>>733739265Data centers want server grade hardware, not consumer gaming stuff.
They can turn it into a Microsoft Surface product if they want instead of an Xbox. 250-350w tdp is still in the realm of laptop brick psu form factor.
>>733739265>48gb gddr7holy fucking clown shit
>>733743464"up to"36 GiB is more likely now with the ram situation being as bad as it is.
>>733743583Still insane specs for a console, though. Wouldn't be surprised if scalpers are already lining up.
