Apparently killing Owlbears and their cubs is evil? I thought owlbears were monsters who killed and ate people. This game is weird, Gale and my character were acting really gay when he was showing me magic earlier as well. And the amount of containers full of garbage is crazy. I'm not sure I like this game.
I like fantasy but the DND setting and resemblance to booktok shit makes me want to never engage with this shit. I was at a gamer convention the other month and I walked into a panel of the one VA from this game being asked about the bear sex scene. The whole con gave me a bad vibe, im autistic and cringe but it was too much for me.
>>733739785Why would you pick the nature paladin and then kill an animal?
>>733739785>This game is weird, Gale and my character were acting really gay when he was showing me magic earlier as well.I think you're just reading too much into it. Why don't you go have a cheeky dance with your good friend wyll?
>>733740653>the DND settingD&D is a setting agnostic ruleset.Baldur's Gate is a series of D&D games, yes, but they take place in the Forgotten Realms campaign setting which is mostly Ed Greenwood's barely concealed fetishes stapled together.other major settings include Greyhawk, Dragonlance, Spelljammer, Eberron, Dark Sun, Mystara, Planescape, Ravenloft... the list could go on.
>>733740819I thought Owlbears were invasive magic monsters not an animal. They hunt humans.
>>733740653The game does give that modern very gay vibe in a lot of scenes, my characters was soifacing when the owlbear came up on us, and he was smiling seductively at Gale as he was showing me how to do magic.I hate it so much.
>>733739785This game is for wine aunts bro.You are not the target audience.
>>733740653>resemblance to booktok shitI always felt like something was off with the game but wasn't able to articulate it. This is a great way of putting it
>>733741397That's Larian's obsession with wanting to make your character expressive because they're really proud of their mediocre character creator. Which is why you should always wear a helmet
>>733741495I feel like it's for people who consider themselves lgbtq+. Nerd culture has been completely dominated by those people.
