They're likely going to kill it, but you won't hear them directly say until long after xbox is dead. They do this shit with all their services like GFWL. GFWL was dead 4-5 years before MS officially killed it. Microsoft likes wasting people's time and money. Can't wait for Xbox to die.

My guess, the word 'XBOX' will be something like a brandname, like ROG is to Asus. We'll have 'XBOX' labeled laptops and PCs, which really is just a way to get more people to use Windows devices to steal more data.
