It's just old and you can't cope with aging properly. Also, your childhood nostalgia was shit

Retro is 3 gens back. When PS3 was new everyone's idea of retro was SNES and PS1 was "just" old. When PS2 was new, we still had 2D games that weren't that far off from SNES and retro was NES and older which were dramatically more primitive than SNES. When PS1 was new, retro was shit like Atari that weren't real games and just some random barely legible pixel shit on your TV.
Now, in modern times the idea to consider PS1 early 3D style retro happened during 8th gen. Only with 9th gen did we start considering PS2 and sucg retro. You see the pattern yet? 3 console gens is around as long as a cultural generation. Retro is just the previous cultural generation. PS3 is on the verge of being retro and will officially gain that status with the release of PS6.
