Dragoon has just always been a cool fucking class and FF4 was the first time the west ever saw it, making him the most iconic of its kind. Bonus points for him getting in the logo of his game. That didn't hurt, either.

I know that the DS / PC etc..3D Remake was often more difficult than some other versions, but it usually wasn't do to 'cheapness' or just pumping the damage and HP or something.

However the Four Fiends were "required" more or less. I'm sorry you didn't find it to your enjoyment though anon; not sure if having the more gradual battle pace of 'wait' mode would help or not.

I think it could actually do with a remake. I do like its CG opening movie a lot. So yes I would say it's a 6/10. Maybe a 7/10, but the dungeon reuse is 90% of the exploration. The final dungeon is quite excellent though, so it is worth a try, just keep in mind that it was originally an episodic mobile game for jap phones.
