Jurassic Park both helped create the 90's dinosaur craze and also caused the post 90's dinosaur hell. We used to have a wide variety of dinosaur related concepts both in vidya and outside of it. Turok. The raptors in Tomb Raider. The Lost World arcade game. Dinotopia. Paraworld. But now all people want are park builders because all that's left of dinosaur fans are autists who want park builders, or alternatively scale furries who want sim games.But there is a slight reason for this. Dinosaurs, especially "realistic" ones, are difficult to model and animate. They're really long and that creates some problems in, say, a survival horror game. Much easier to have zombies that don't need to worry about a super long tail or figuring out how they navigate corners or objects in the environment. Humans are easy, most mammals are easy, dinosaurs are hard.

The effect and cultural standing of dinosaurs depends entirely on dinosaur movies. In the early 1900's it was The Lost World, Beast from 20,000 fathoms and King Kong. In the 1950's to 1970's it was crappy B-movies about cavewoman in skimpy clothes or Reptilicus or some foreign movie about a Godzilla ripoff. In the 90's it was JP. Since then its been almost nothing of note. King Kong 2005 was a remake (a good one surprisingly) of the 1930's movie. All other dinosaur movies fail horribly like that 65 movie from a year back with Adam Driver or the soulless JW movies.

Then there's Speed Smart Falcon which is actually pretty good, but will take forever to come out since it released after 3rd anniversary and the month after is Stamina Shakur and Wit Daiwa, so you'll probably be recommended to skip Falco since it's "just" another Speed card and you already have MLB Condor and Almond Eye is a couple months later. And finally Power Bourbon they added at the end of 2025.Basically you just hope they let you get the welfare event cards you missed sooner rather than later if you really care about TTL.
