One thing I've wondered for a while is why the Argonians in eastern Skyrim stick around. Windhelm and Riften both have large argonian minorities who are treated like absolute dogshit, and from what I understand Black Marsh is doing fairly well these days. I don't really understand why they stick around and don't gtfo. They've be treated like actual people and would have much better prospects in lifeOr, hell, in Talen-Jei's case. He wasn't born (hatched?) in Skyrim. He was originally from Gideon, but he decided to specifically move to Riften. Why? I don't get it. I understand why the Dunmer stick around because Morrowind is even shittier than the treatment they get in Skyrim, but why do the Argonians stick around? Or in Talen-Jei's case, why the fuck did he move from Gideon to Riften?
