Why is mage always the worst class in vidya?

not in veilguard. tho sometimes it was annoying cuz you'd have to see what element the opponent is weak to then reload the game and equip a proper staff that counters them
>>733749119>always the worst classThat's not really the caseEven in games where mages are heavily limited by needing to manage MP/SP/whatever and being useless once they run dry, they usually do fuckloads of damage to compensate and are therefore still useful members of the party as long as you're careful with your spellsPlus there are plenty of games where mages have ways of reliably restoring MP, or where they eventually get so much MP that the costs of casting spells become irrelevant. Hell, sometimes they don't even need to deal with an MP bar at all (or, at the very least, aren't that much more reliant on it than any other class)
