I want to leave a review on a steam demo, (positive, don't get your panties in a twist). Doe anyone know of any sneaky ways to achieve this? I tried the inspect element console command trick and it seems to be outdated. Anyone know any other methods?
if theres no separate page for the demo then youre shit outta luckbtw whats the point? there have been so many botted reviews lately even on paid games. is it a venezuelan powered service?
>>733750048It's just a really cool game that has no reviews. I want to be the first one to leave a review on it. It has it's own steam page, but technically it is "not yet available on steam" and doesn't have any review buttons above the download button. Any idea in that case?
>>733749598Holy shit is valve's backend that dogshit that this works (or worked at some point)? Also is this your screenshot, you did replace the numbers with the appid of your game, right?
>>733750602Like anon said, you need the specific page for the demo, or wait for the game to be out. Also you can try to post something on the forums
>>733751383Op here, just tried again a few times replacing the 'appid' and 'steamworksappid' with the store ID. and it doesn't seem to work, the post I got the HTML from appears to state that it USED to work. There still might be some wizardry that is out of my knowledge to achieve this... hence why I'm posting here.>>733751576probably. Though knowing the average steam forums user I don't know if I'm going to get anything useful (at least for 2 months lol)
>>733751383It's a schizo thread
even if you leave a review devs just delete the demo page anyway
