Gearing up to take my lumps here but I gotta ask... anyone else think this game isn't really that bad? I'm emulating it so maybe my hardware is running it better than the Wii U did but I have yet to run into a glitch (where as before the game was known as a barely playable broken mess) and I'm even having... dare I say it... fun. It's just your usual mascot platformer but with Sonic and the writing has the shows more pleasant aspects. Was the gaming culture at the time perhaps too hard on this or am I the odd one out?
You're alone on this one, chief. It plays like some licensed PS2 shovelware game. It's one of the most boring mascot platformers ever.

>>733762691>Thank you op for being an actual human being with a real opinion sincerely expressed.Yup, I just found myself having a bit more fun than I expected, but like I said above, I'm a sucker for these kinds of games and even with that there are aspects of this game where you can tell the devs were absolutely fighting for their lives with the cryengine. Still, there are some games that we look back on and people agree we judged more harshly than they deserved considering the decline of quality in gaming that we have now but considering my predisposition towards the genre I was genuinely just curious. Either way, glad I'm still enjoying it for the time being.
