Considering RE: Village and RE7 both scored 85-90 on average; I'd expect RE9 to be similar. Capcom has been doing really good with RE games, so I feel fairly confident this one will be great as well. The RE3 remake and RE6 were really the last ones that everyone hated. The RE2 Remake was fantastic.

I honestly don't know.Press has been resoundingly positive for all the previews, but I look at RE9 leaks and see a haphazard, honestly outright boring game. There was a guy streaming the opening of the game yesterday and it's literally>5 minutes of walking around as Grace>5 minutes of running past zombies as Leon>10 minutes of hiding from monsters as Grace>5 minutes of fighting zombies as Leon>20 minutes of hiding from monsters as GraceAnd so on, and Grace's sections don't change for the whole of the game. She only has a handgun and the optional big gun, she doesn't have real boss fights, and her exploration is innately limited because she can't fight enemies. It's like half the game is just that Sherry orphanage section and the other half isn't much better since Leon's stuff isn't actually "like RE6" as people here have been claiming, it's barely even like RE4.It's just Leon fighting the most braindead of zombies from the remake of 2, and that's it until his second to last section where he literally fights armed soldiers with riot shields and guns. I wouldn't be surprised if this go above 80, but I'd somehow still be confused because this just looks bad from all angles, and I've played enough RE to know this isn't that great to play either.
