Most characters had their lines largely stay the same even though they were re-recorded for the update, Seven had this one added though. What's described here is basically what reddit and the discord kept pushing as their theory, that Seven was on Kelvin's expedition and hates him because they were trying to find eternal life together and Kelvin betrayed him, took it for himself, died and became a wight and lost the memory of the event. Them adding this line basically feels like them confriming that theory. Who knows if they always intended that relationship or if they are pandering to reddit but I will say there were always a bunch of relationships hinted at but not expanded until recently. Pocket cries out sadly, "Momo!" when he kills Mo and Kryll and always has, going back like 2 years. My friend and I used to joke about how weird it was but with the recent update they gave Mo and Kryll some lines implying they saved and took Pocket in after the attempt on his life with Kryll even calling him family.
