Do you consider video game characters as Human or cartoon characters? Even those who resemble their actors? Like I still see them as not human and just cartoon characters I can control. What do you see video game characters as? Do you see them as human? Even the photorealistic ones?

I know these characters have the same faces as their actors. Even their body scans and movement, but I still don't see them as human, just cartoon characters that I can control like digital puppets.

I unironically consider vidya characters, even completely nameless npc's more human than some actual real people.

I don't see them as human, no matter how realistic they look or behave. That's just the power of acting and motion capture that makes you feel that way. I see them more like digital puppets.

Nah, I consider even tiny ass pixel art sprites with no voiced dialog more human than real people too, and that's because real people are just that fucking shit with 0 individuality. I work in retail and I have actual proof 99% of people have no souls and probably despawn too when they're 50 meters away from me.
Vidya characters are most of the time created by someone with a soul.
