awful dpad and triggers

i had this before the entire submarine thing
the triggers on this thing is fucking shit. felt like i was giving my fingers a workout every time i used it. didn't help that the only game i played this with was project wingman.
you can apparently mod it by replacing the springs of the triggers with springs you would find on pens but i've already bought an 8bitdo pro 2 by the time.

the only reason i bought the f710 in the first place was because when i bought a monitor from the store i bought it from, they gave me in-store credit and the only thing that seemed of value was the controller

You can get some pliers and nip one end of the springs.
Barring that and the dpad, good controller.
