As a life long FF fan but also WoW player who on and off'd for a while, the best game would be a mix of both.25 man raiding needs to fuck off entirely, FF14 having 8 was perfect. The current tank and healer design is a compromise to make these jobs more approachable to the general playerbase. Any redesign of these jobs have to create a more satisfying job experience without raising the minimum bar for entry.Also honestly lots of players are pure delulu about their personal skill level. They are already spamming medica2 to deal with raidwide damage.By pruneing the ogcd kit, the job gets harder for skilled players since they have fewer resources to use, and more of their healing require cast time (adding a time and movement component). It creates more hotbar space for a more engaging dps rotation for when you aren't moving as well. The changes don't matter to +30 year old women who run a-raids though.
