I feel like it was better in the earlier meta before we had access to all these strong skills. There are other late-race skills that are stronger from inherits like Oguri's triumphant pulse, rudolf's unique, NY Opera unique too. Homestretch haste is just a cheaper weaker version but it's not the worst. There are usually other stuff I want to prioritize first though so I rarely buy it, only on parent runs usually
