There are a lot of videos of people trying to explain shit but I agree with the other anon, just play Street Brawl and read what the items do to learn them and how to play your character. If there is something that's hard to learn, it's the macro-strategy (moving around the map and things like that) and Street Brawl completely discards that so it's a good way to learn the basics. I also recommend checking the items of people who kill you to try and understand what they are doing that works so well. If you just want some basics for Calico, she likes Spirit items (purple) and Health items (Green) because her gun doesn't scale well. She excels earlier on when her burst damage is better which is generally true for a lot of spirit characters. She likes Green items because with her ult and cat form she's already very slippery so more ways to survive lets her get in and out more.
