If you've played any of the Destiny games it looks like a Vex Cube you shoot to open doors (it's extremely digitialized ice cube crossed with Tron and the Matrix effects tinted blue)It'll either be just floating off the ground or inside a container - once you grab the Anamoly two things happen, first EVERYONE on the map can now see you and two you first need to head to a randomly given location on the map in under three minutes to stabilize the Anomaly. Then (everyone on the map can still see you) you need to go to extract without going down (Bleedout not fully dead). In the Slam once you extract you get, I think 75k credits but in the full release that anomaly piece is part of a key to get into Marathon/Cryo and only *one* person, the person carrying it gets accessThe Epic and Legendary tiered UESC Commander has a chance of dropping it in perimeter but it's rare

He'll protect you and restore your health and shield. Mark enemies on the outskirts before entering a building so you can track them better. Avoid enemies you don't need to fight and move on. The free weapon + ammo crate is more than enough to fight NPCs in the opening few minutes. But if you think it will carry you the whole match, then yeah, you're going to get stomped when meeting other players. But it's more than enough for the robots.
