Did you guys know that Japan hates FF14, FF15, and FF16 so much that Japan's favorite Square Enix jrpg RIGHT NOW is Final Fantasy XIII? Y'know, the one you Americans hate. >>734076134The issue is that the lore is too convoluted and uses too many made up words to describe too many complicated concepts, there was no way of properly conveying it all without having huge exposition dumps. It's pretty cool because it feels like being dropped into an actual foreign world with its own rules but the story is too ambitious for its own good, it's not a 100+ hrs WRPG where you can question NPCs, it's a 40hr JRPG that moves at a relatively fast pace
