One type is more faded in color and can't be broken, they are like part of the background art like how sometimes random clutter or other things you can't break will be, the odd thing though is they are the only undestroyable wall/environment piece that also has an effect they do extra damage to things that bump them and give them thorns. There are cactuses you can destroy too, they brighter in color and you should be able to highlight them like a unit.

Spoilering this since I think it's the last boss, but I just lost a run to The Creator's first phase while taking the nuke. The clones went first which didn't happen last time, is that normal? I got completely wiped by my cats and now have none of my good items. Kind of annoying that I have to do all three runs again too, since I'm a bit burned out and just want to finish the game.
