Something about it I really fucking like,I really wanted a sci-fi Tarkov game, I just hope it ends up being deeper than advertised. They could start out as an extraction based shooter and add game modes, I don't see why that's out of the realm of possibility here. There are things it reminded me of, obviously Destiny/Halo DNA within it, but also from movies like Blade Runner or Elysium with the droid security bots. It's very tempting to spend $40 on it since I barely play anything. I can't be the only one who feels the vibes with Marathon? There is something here. Bungie just needs to play it smart and expand it properly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xO9ZtvDm0BU&list=RDxO9ZtvDm0BU&start_radio=1
Blast status?
>>734167779It's cool, I'm playing it. Don't care if the thirdie masses on /v/ chimp out
>>734167779I can't tell if you're being ironic or not but I also had fun, first extraction shooter. Running with randoms is a death sentence, I can finish most obj way easier on solo.
>>734167779>I don't see why that's out of the realm of possibility here.are you familiar with the one other game they've made within the past ten years?
>>734167990Yeah but Destiny always seemed very experimental on Bungie's part, Marathon does have an entire history of its own here. Bringing it back means new opportunities for them.

>>734167779I like it, but not for 40 bucks. If they added giant PvE bosses and made a PvE only mode with rewards to bring over into PvP (best gear would be in PvEvP but you could still get good enough loot in PvE) I think it would be better. Game is fun but the learning curve is steep, the game not conveyed very well, and the PvP too harsh and punishing. It's close to very good but the changes it would require are too dev intensive at this time to save it.
