I just focused on the core loop, which was entering a map and attacking objectives with the expectation of pvp. Anything I earned from those encounters was peripheral to what I wanted, which was to be constantly tasked with different things so that I'd end up in varied scenarios of pvp. Gaining new contracts was just a way for me to keep fighting. I wasn't farming reputation or items or weapons. I did get those things, but it happened because I wanted to kill other players in a game that looks like this. That's the fun part for me.
