GTA3's biggest "problem" is that the cars are all very weak and catch fire after only 2 or 3 big hits. Normally it doesn't matter, but when an enemy can literally one-shot your car with a shotgun as you zoom past and racing competitors can set you on fire by bumping into you at the starting line, it's bad.

>>734211782Honestly it's just too old, from a mechanics aspect. The map is fun. The story is alright. The characters are fun. It's just old as fuck. When I was kid playing it, it didn't seem that way especially coming from top down GTA2. But going back to it now it's just awful. I think if you update 3 and VC with the mechanics that San Andreas has it would vastly improve the games and people would be more open to going back and playing them/experiencing them. I'm not even a zoomer and I can't be assed going back to play OG 3.
